Forty-plus years on the Bellarine Peninsula, and Scotchmans Hill still earns its place in Halliday's Top 100. The cellar door and restaurant sit on Scotchmans Road in Drysdale, an hour and a half from Melbourne — close enough for a day trip. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling are the backbone; a new Mediterranean-inflected line called Solé has recently joined the portfolio.
